Resident Electrical Engineer - Solar PV Projects – Renewable Energy - England, United Kingdom – Initial 5 month Contract Position (Possible Extension)

As the Resident Electrical Engineer, you will work across multiple large scale Solar PV sites in England.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily HV, MV, and LV electrical inspections, audits and oversee commissioning to ensure safety and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports within 3 days of site visits, address system integrity and remotely follow up on unresolved issues.
- Review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure adherence to electrical quality standards and resolve design deviations.
- Collaborate with project teams and contractors to ensure compliance and resolve electrical safety or quality concerns.
- Provide regular updates to the project team, attend meetings and communicate findings from site inspections and commissioning.
Skills And Experience:
- A degree or an equally valued qualification within Electrical Engineering or similar related field
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in Construction
- Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders
- Clear understanding and knowledge of HSE
- Proficiency in quality control and compliance
- Effective progress tracking and reporting abilities
Logistics:
- Start Date: ASAP, can wait until the end of October for the right candidate
- Employment Term: Minimum 5 month contract (Possibility of extension)
- Working Arrangement: 4 days of site visits with 1 day WFH to produce and submit reports
