We are seeking a Site-Based Senior Project Manager who is experienced in Utility-Scale Wind Farm Construction. Based in regional WA, as the Owner's Representative, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of this wind energy project on behalf of our client. You will be responsible for ensuring that project is completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in wind farm construction, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Act as the primary point of contact, for the client throughout the construction phase of the project.
- Project planning and monitoring: Development of a detailed plan, identification of objectives, key stages, resources, and timelines.
- Resource management: Allocation and optimization of human, financial, and material resources for the project.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize project performance.
- Team coordination: Oversee onsite construction teams and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Risk management: Identification, evaluation, and proactive management of risks associated with the project.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations in the renewable energy field.
- Communication and negotiation: Interaction with stakeholders, building a strong and trusting relationship with landowners and other key stakeholders.
- Financial oversight: Budget control, cost monitoring, and optimization of project expenses.
- Reporting and documentation: Preparation of periodic reports on project progress and achievement of set objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Highly proficient having held a similar senior role as PM in renewable energy, wind farm technologies.
- Advanced project management skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to manage risks effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations.
