Responsibilities Work with the Sales team for sales initiation, technical sales support and value engineering Analyze RFP documentation and asses project scope and risk Conduct technical presentations and provide clarifications to customers Understand, interpret, and relay customer requirements into BESS solution designs Liaise with internal teams to prepare accurate costing and financial analysis for tender submission Review and submit technical tender response bundles within deadlines to clients Follow up and analyse previous tender submissions to understand outcome/result Understand and keep up with storage market requirements and trends Understand regional energy markets and associated revenue streams for storage systems Study competitive landscape for ongoing product development The Person Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering Fluency in business and technical English 5+ years of experience in relevant field, preferably incl. experience working for a DNO or TSO Working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems, PPC/EMS/SCADA and grid connection processes for jurisdictions under your management (UK or relevant regions in Europe) Familiarity with grid operator processes If you are passionate about the renewable energy industry and looking for a broad and challenging role with prospects to match (including senior leadership and Directorship roles), make your application without delay.

The Role As a Senior BESS Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the battery energy storage system (BESS) business development and revenue growth in UK and wider markets. Further duties and responsibilities include: Able to independently develop new customers, grow BESS sales pipeline and mange key account customers relationships. Be part of a slim, agile, fast growing team and comapny. Develop BESS service business strategy and grow BESS service business pipeline. Partner with and lead internal function teams to close deals. Facilitate commercial negotiation with customers. Stay on top of latest BESS market and power market development in the region, as well as competitive landscape change. Develop mid to long term growth strategy for BESS sales and BESS Service business in the UK. There is a fantastic, lear pathway to Director level. The Person Preferred 3+ years of Business Development and Sales experience, with minimal 1 years of relevant work experience in energy storage industry. Rich network and customer resources in the UK. Commercially acute and have good understanding of contract terms and negotiation skills. Capable of setting-up and leading a global sales team. Comfortable of working independently and remotely from HQ teams. Able to travel >50% of the time.
